Archaeological dowsing in TCS

Strange goings-on in Trinity Church Square garden on Saturday 3 October 2009. Members of the Archaeological Group of the British Society of Dowsers (www.britishdowsers.org) explored half of the garden for traces of previous civilisations, expecting to find perhaps some buildings or tracks.

What did they find?
No traces of buildings or tracks, but they detected two separate burial sites: one Roman, with a few bodies laid north to south, and a second from about 1425, with bodies laid east to west, about 4 feet down.
